Oz vs. Fetterman (Lurch) debate

Oz is much better at stagecraft.

It was a punishing format for someone recovering from a stroke and Dr. Slick made the most of it.

I only wonder how this so-called healer can live with himself. He even admitted he wouldn't talk to his own patients the way he talks about Fetterman.

Oz=scum.

He does not care about people, he cares about winning a senate seat.

Since he is this bad five months after the stroke we can be reasonably sure that he will never be remotely OK. Most of the healing that can take place has taken place absent a miracle.

Sorry but I'll take the word of medical professionals over that of a self-described sage.

Oh, you were going to vote for Fetterman until you saw the debate?

Give me a break. You were always going to vote for the lying, carpetbagging Slickster.

Some of us have principles but they're not repugs.

You mean you are going to vote for the guy that lived off of his parents and wants to let violent criminals back onto the street. The guy that is lying about his previous position on fracking. That Slickster? He has no principles he is lying to you just to get your vote. Typical Democrat puke. .

How thoughtful of you to remember that I'm a retired special education teacher... (though I'm not a "girlfriend"...who told you that?)when I'm not even posting in this thread...
Just fyi...the use of "these kinds of kids" in your post is just as offensive as the "r" word...So please keep that in mind... I look forward to you admonishing all of those who use the word...or any form or it ("....tard") from now on...Thank you again... and have a lovely day...

Reading is fundamental. I said you "claimed" to be a special ed teacher.

The next time you wag your finger at some RWNJ who uses the word "retard" will be the first time. Instead you "understand" why they use the word, like we've seen you do with Hawkeye many times on the Toxic thread

I see you're still confused;)... no surprise there... read my post one more time... I'm sure it will be clear eventually but if they are still questions just PM me... I'll be happy to help... (PS..I "claim" that I was a special ed teacher because I was... you can bet on that if the chance ever arises...)

I guess now that I'm here I'll ask does he still live with his parents?

Why are you ignoring Dr. Slick's flip flops on abortion and fracking, Expressweenie?

Typical repuke babbling words without context. All you're doing is showing that you're another sheep who can't or won't do a deep dive into politicians' positions without spouting off lies. Most states have looser sentencing on 2nd-degree murder than PA, maybe even yours.

"... Fetterman has advocated eliminating mandatory life sentences without parole for those who commit second-degree murder. So, he’s not talking about all murders, and he’s not seeking to eliminate life sentences as an option for second-degree murders, but rather to give judges discretion in sentencing — if a judge deems it appropriate.

“More than 1,000 people are sitting in jail right now on what amounts to a death sentence despite never having taken a life,” Fetterman said in February 2021. “That’s not because a judge thought the sentence was deserved. It’s because a one-size-fits-all law makes it mandatory. Any reasonable person who looks at the unfairness of these sentences will acknowledge the need for change.”

Fetterman cited a report from Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity. “Unlike almost every other crime, second-degree murder – often called ‘felony murder’ – does not describe an act but a situation: it applies when someone dies related to a felony,” the report said. “In Pennsylvania, that felony is defined as committing, attempting to commit, or fleeing from an act of robbery, burglary, kidnapping, rape, or arson.”

According to Pennsylvania law, that felony also includes people who are accomplices to those crimes.

“These folks are not Hannibal Lecter,” Fetterman said during a town hall with prison reform advocates in June 2021. “These are individuals that may have been involved in a bad decision, terrible mistake, or something that they had no idea was going to occur.”

Pennsylvania’s mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole for second-degree or felony murder is a bit of a national outlier."

Since he's already OK where it matters against his absurd Senate opponent we can be reasonably sure Fetterman is the wiser choice.

Please link up to a post of yours where you called out someone for saying "retard."

You can't, so you won't.

I've done it quite often... although I never use the word just the initial ...that's why you mention it... I often call that people for other colorful languages as well...(Dont forget...I promise you if the wager ever comes up bet on my teacher claim...you'll be a winner...;))

You're not sorry, you're pathetic. So, your weasel out is a logical fallacy of ad hominem attacking the sources rather than content? How lame. I regularly go to and cite radical Leftist nutgoober sites like Slate and Vox. Hell, I even watch conspiracy theorist wackjobs like The Young Turks or MSNBC. I'm not afraid to use radical, crazies on the Left sites because I look at content, not who they are.

I usually don't cite them because they are lunatics, but at least if I'm going to refute them because you chose to use them, I will do it on the basis of content not the source itself.

:rofl2: Yeah you regularly cite liberal media with comments like this: "Look at what those idiots at Slate are saying today."

You should be worrying more about Mark Kelly and your own state, rather than PA.

So, Fetterman's position IS really stupid after all.

Example: You and two accomplices rob a bank at gunpoint. One of the accomplices, by choice or accident, shoots and kills someone during that robbery. You are caught and tried for felony murder. Seems just to me. You were a willing participant in an act of violence in which one of your accomplices killed someone. You are equally guilty of that act.
It is no different than if you are standing in mob watching several people stomp someone to death and you egg them on to stomp the victim some more. You are as guilty as those performing the act.

When you are participating in the crime, even if not the one that does the physical act, then you are complicit and should be punished for that complicity. That Pennsylvania has a particularly strict law on this is a separate issue but I wouldn't take the side of Leftists in what the law should be.

I didn't ask you to say it but to link it.

Are you having problems understanding this?
