All "health care equity" means is that everyone has the same equal access to health care; no longer would there be provider networks, copays, coinsurance, or chargemasters.
Nothing is scarce...what has you so angry is that the access to health care you bought via private insurance has turned out to be a gigantic scam since they do nothing to enhance or improve upon the care your provider gives you.
