Actually this appears to be a pretty classic case of endogenous mental breakdown or primary psychotic break. Delusions of grandeur, lack of trauma indicators, and the age/timeline all fit pretty well.

The toxicology report could always shed more light on the specific incident but that doesn't mean the drugs are the primary cause.
