It might be the smartest thing the government has ever done. Not only does it give a person a nice start but it also teaches them the power of compound interest which teaches them the power of saving while young. That's a huge win. Trump got them to cry uncle to the whole world.

He's made it crystal clear the guns and bombs stay locked and loaded until and only if they actually keep every promise. It's trust but verify in real time.

The first strike buried years of their work and cash under tons of granite leaving them in real pain. The second one was even worse destroying over twenty thousand targets and flushing away decades of effort money and infrastructure in one brutal go. Then came the blockade the knockout punch that finished the job.

While the usual suspects whine about billions in unfrozen assets they ignore that Iran has been bleeding close to a billion dollars every two days just in lost oil sales alone. This so-called relief is nothing more than us unlocking the very funds we froze at the start of Economic Fury. That's not weakness it's leverage pure and simple. Trump squeezed them from every angle smashing their assets crippling their cash flow and choking their economy until they had no choice but to drop to their knees and spit out that desperate statement.

Iran has droned and missiled oil facilities in neighboring Gulf states. They have rebuilding to do, The damage Daffy Donald has done will linger for years. Trump's payoff is zero. trumprx has much higher prices than generic prices. And trump has given major concessions to get those prices. It has led to higher overall prices. Again, that is a fact.

I have noticed that the only "solutions" coming from trump is government handouts. It is a retirement account, which is odd because retirement should not be the highest priority for a newborn baby. Obviously education should be a higher priority.

It's better than nothing I suppose. You do know that $1000 invested at 3% over 20 years yields just $1,806 with compound interest...

What works is saving money and having interest being high enough to offset inflation or beat it. So, if you were sticking $1000 a year in an account (about $83 a month or about $20 a week) and the interest is 3% you end up with close to $40,000 in 20 years. Saving $20 a week makes the difference.
