My neighborhood jacks the gas prices, man.
Went 20 miles away, gas was 30-40 cents lower. They are cracker-taxing our asses!
Fuel companies shouldn't be allowed to collude and fix fuel prices like that.
It wasn't always like that in America. At all. They all used to have to compete, and competition lowers prices.
Still $3.79 for regular up here, but eggs are .99c a doz. and have been for some time now.

I remember when hi-test was actually hi-test and it was under a buck.
Drove around all night drinking beer on $5.00 (even less than that in the Pinto).
I remember when hi-test was red but forget the name of the company that sold it.
Sunoco had 260, which was the highest octane pump gas. Speed shops sold racing gas,
some of us would add some of that to our cars. That shit worked! Some went to the airport
and added airplane gas, but that stuff burns hotter than race gas. I stayed away from the airport.
