Wasn't Crazy Trump going fix this problem on day one.

In 2025, nearly one in five adults ages 18 to 64 — almost 20% — paid for groceries with savings, and nearly one in 20 — more than 5% — bought them with cash from a payday advance loan.

Those are two of the findings of a survey by the Urban Institute, a Washington, D.C.–based nonpartisan think tank that conducts economic and social policy research.

Its Well-being and Basic Needs Survey for 2025 also revealed that although nearly 35% of adults 18 to 64 who paid for groceries with a credit card paid the bill in full when it came due, more than 19% paid less than the full balance, and almost 9% did not always make the minimum payment. Contrast that with 2023, when around 7% did not make the minimum payment.

That's a bad thing. Going in debt just to eat....

A lot of people grocery shop AND EAT like idiots. They shop for convenience . They eat processed foods by the car load and wonder why they are so fat they can barely move around. Its laziness,.... plain and simple. Eating healthy isn't all that expensive,.....you just have to actually get off your ass and cook.

How I grew up.........

Every year my Dad would buy a half of beef and a half a pig from a local farmer. No poison in it....LOL We also maintained a stock of around 20- 25 chickens at all times for the fresh meat and eggs. In addition to that we also ate a ton of fresh fish we caught from the dozens of lakes all around us and generally took a few deer each year from our forests for the fresh venison.

We also maintained a substantial garden each year that produced about every fresh vegetable you can think of. Our garden was around 20 yards wide by 30 yards deep. We gave a ton of it away to friends and family because it produced way more than what our family could eat.

Gee,....I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that at 62 years old I can walk BACKWARDS faster than most 40 year olds can run,......if they can even run at all THAT IS :ROFLMAO: But hey,.....keep right on eating your whoppers and Twinkies,.....I'm sure everything will work out just great for you as it not only drains your wallet but more importantly your life.

Oh wait,....cant forget about my mother. Any excess vegetables were canned and put up for later. Our basement was practically its own grocery store. Fruit is not grown here so my mother would buy multiple crates of peaches, pears, ect ect from fruit stands and can those too.

Mobility scooters when they first came out USED TO be for the very old and infirm and for crippled people. Now they are predominantly used by THE FAT. Let that sink in a second.............WOW!!!!

My kids say that although they have good incomes, they are able to save less now due to the soaring prices of almost everything.

Eat as many whole foods as possible,....no matter what kind of shape the economy is. Unless you enjoy consuming POISON that is. Pretty simple.

So now the victims are the culprits.
