Still waiting for you to address the actual point instead of the one you invented. Natural immunity develops after infection. The early deaths were the people who did not survive the first encounter with a novel virus. Explaining that sequence is not the same as advocating deliberate mass infection. If you have a counter-argument to the biology or the excess-mortality numbers, make it.

And you’ve avoided the question, given the scenes coming out of the first year of Covid, the ER’s overcrowded, mass graves, etc., doing little while waiting to see if a natural immunity occurred would have been the wiser course of action?

98% of the people that got covid recovered without a vaccine. Period
