All but the warlords likely are. The warlords are more likely highly variable from wanting a peace deal to wanting to fight to the last man. Since they are the real power in Iran right now, there's little likelihood of any diplomatic solution to what's going on there.

Refineries have for too long been running at capacity with no downtime for maintenance..... that's going to end one way or another.....they either voluntarily go offline or they eventually blow up.

So you see the stupidity of assassinating as much of the top leadership as you can and why militaries, through out history, knew that could lead to power vacuums, fights for control, and an inability to find a single party who could speak for or control the factions in the country?

He's wrong. Maybe the official government is. Maybe the ayatollahs are. But the warlords? They're ready to fight as irregular forces like the Houthi, Hezbollah, etc., are. They want endless, meaningless, and totally ineffective petty tribal warfare because it benefits them.
Or as in this case it leads to more militant pissed off younger leaders. Also on the military side I have been told many times that removing older senior leaders tends to lead to them being replaced by more competent younger leaders.....when people stick at senior positions too long they lose effectiveness in part because of the decline caused by age.......for the killing of the leadership to be effective a whole lot of people must be killed.....a project that is especially hard to work in a place like Iran that has for decades set out to have a deep bench......because they know full well what the demonic empire is like.
That said I just yesterday was told that enough of Hezbollah's leadership has been killed that it is a problem.....but it is certainly not in Iran.
