BACK TO SCHOOL MAYHEM

Bull fuckin shit, I was 17 years old in 1976 and I grew up in the projects, the hood, the worst parts of town, piss poor ghetto deep deep all black projects and nothing and I mean nothing was like this shit we got today, nothing. Teenagers got into fist fights, they didn't shoot mf's, nigga men that shot each other deserved it, not this random drive by shit. No shootouts at funeral homes, baby showers, amusement parks, bus stops, schools, churches, parks, you name it, these mf's today will bring a gun to it. No sir, yo ass is full of shit. Same thing my black ass.
You're not fooling anyone with your cartoonish attempt to sound "black" with cliches & buzzwords... nor is your generalized stereotype descriptions of "the hood". For the younger folk, all one has to do is a little research on the 1970's crime on such topics as NYC (Ft. Apache in the Bronx, for one) or the California (Watts Riots, Compton etc.). And the beginning of the East coast/West coast fang warfare. You can't change history. The bottom line is we are witnessing a progression/change in bad social activity in relation to crime ... and I have no problem in arresting and prosecuting offenders. It's all relative, despite your revisionistic hubris.

Granted these big urban cities such as NY, Compton, etc did in fact have high rates of crime among young blacks. Its called the start of the crack pandemic and the hip hop phase. And it wasn't 12-15 year olds, it was mostly young black adult males....But for the vast majority of the nation, crime in the 1970's among urban teens was not as bad as it is today. To get an accurate picture, criminologists look at the 1970s as the beginning of a massive U.S. crime wave that didn’t actually reach its absolute peak until the early 1990s...I stand by my comments, have a blessed day.

White people must understand, but foolishly want to forget the 1960's.

Black people of the 70's was just coming out of the most worst and violent decade of our nations black history, ie the 1960's. Black people were systematically refused jobs, decent housing, that a Civil Rights bill had to be passed, we had high unemployment, segregation in schools and neighborhoods, racism, the Vietnam war, the assassinations of beloved black leaders, such and Dr. King and Malcom X, riots, political unrest, voting restrictions, you name the barriers, THE WHITE MAN HAD THEM IN PLACE....so if violence spiked in the 1970's along with drug use. such as Crack..LET ME ASK YOU, WHEN THE FUCK DID WE EVER HAD TIME TO HEAL FROM THE LAST 100 YEARS OF WHITE OPPRESSION?? I'LL WAIT.

Flag is not racist
Correct. This flag is not racism at all.

While it did represent CSA forces, it was created to minimize friendly fire incidents on the battlefield when the Stars and Bars flag was used.
The Southern Cross flag was easier to distinguish in the smoke and haze of battle.

The current rectangular version is essentially a Tennessee design. Most forces used a square version.

All of these flags represented the CSA.

The CSA was defeated and the States reincorporated back into the USA. This also marked the beginning of the end of legal slavery.

The War of Secession was the bloodiest war ever fought, mostly with cannon and rifle fire. In the four years of battle, some 750,000 deaths occurred between 1861 and 1865.

Abraham Lincoln himself was shot and killed by a CSA sympathizers, after the war ended, while attending a comedy play at Ford theater, just days after Lee surrendered to General Grant.

Union troops found these sympathizers and killed them. Booth (the trigger man) was shot, the others were executed by hanging for their crime.
VP Andrew Johnson (who became President after the assassination) and William Seward (Secretary of State).

It could be argued that the last significant casualty of that war was Lincoln himself, and of course, the CSA sympathizers that performed the assassination.

Johnson oversaw the reconstruction and emancipation process.
Congress readmitted the states back into the Union, once they agreed to the terms of the treaty and also participated in the emancipation process.

In December of 1865, the 13th amendment was ratified into law, which ended legal slavery in the United States.

Newsflash for ya, sweetpea, LONG before the crack epidemic (courtesy of our gov't) and hip hop/gangster rap the places I referenced had serious crime problems that involved young teens. Do a little research about The Young Lords or read the book "Down These Mean Streets" by Piri Thomas. Crime waves rise and fall, soI don't know what kind of criminologist you are believing in. Hell, my Pop was NYC cop (patrol, vice, homicide)for over 30 years, and he could tell you some stories thst would make your hair stand on end. What the net is widely broadcasting now was happening on another scale 50 years ago ... and like then similar crimes by white folk were getting scant coverage, which lends to hubris by the likes of Vole. So maybe you should be careful where you stand.
