I was raised in the Presbyterian Church but converted to Catholicism when I married my esposa. I completed the standard Catholic classes to marry in the Catholic Church and then did as many converted Catholics do...I neglected further theological training.

My solace is the verse that says, ""Lo, I am with you always." Which I believe is the assurance that God will be with his followers always, until the end of the earth.

My brother is the theologian in my family, he has a Divinity Degree from Vanderbilt. I worked in the Religion Library there but since the stacks were beneath the main library, during slack times...which was often...I would sneak up to the main library to peruse the Engineering books.

My brother says I am a slacker, in terms of religious theology, and I am, but when I ask him to help me compute the sag of a transmission line between towers, he looks bewildered.

How about those 60,000 to 80,000 Moroccan migrants who crossed illegally into Ceuta, Spain?

I thought it was scary at the time. I had a vivid imagination and would sometimes think that meant I could go to sleep and never wake up the next A.M... which is true no matter what you believe. The nuns and priests seemed to like scaring us kids, unless that was just my imagination, too. :D

But if you go by those words you can't prepare for a specific Rapture day if no one knows except the Father.

Chas Freeman says on todays Glenn Diesen that fans of Vance are being pushed out wholesale and replaced with Rubio supporters.

As I have said at several points the people who run America from the shadows have soured on Vance because they no longer trust him.....exactly why I do not know.
