From China to Russia to US to South America, someone is sabotaging oil refineries. Oil refineries have been hit in all those places.

US just opened a new oil refinery, but one was messed up a little while back.

Diesel was 2/3 the price of gasoline for about a century. W. Bush did that, whatever it was, to make diesel cost more than gas, because it never
did before, ever.
So like from time of the invention of cars until W. Bush in a highly dubious 2000 election, gas was always about 2/3 the price of gasoline.

All refineries produce diesel fuel, Chicom. It is the same equipment as that used to produce gasoline or any other fuel or petroleum product such as asphalt.
The only refineries shutting down are those in California due to abusive laws and taxes not making it profitable anymore.

Not sure if this is true.....saw a report that the feds are letting truckers drive 5 extra hours a day on an emergency basis because of diesel prices. The people in charge are constantly doing things claiming emergency...
90% of the fuel charges for trucks are paid by the firms....only 11% are owner operator run......this looks look the government letting the firms further exploit labor and make the roads less safe to keep the trucking firms happy in $10/gal diesel....which is already here in Europe.

There will at least be enough food.....next winter/spring likely will be different as we burn through stocks....there is for instance a credible prediction that in Europe this years harvest will be down 40%.
