California lands six universities in the global top 25

While Republicans base entire campaigns about a handful of transgenders playing NCAA women's basketball, the mainstream economists will tell you that economic growth depends on infrastructure, productivity, and education.
Alaska has a crap university system yet the poverty rate ranking is 16 places better than CA .
Are you saying infrastructure and productivity in CA is what brings them down?

All the top universities are where one goes to look for a career in weapons manufacturing. California happens to have better weather than Massachusetts and Indiana.

Demoncraps base their entire campaigns on "...Republicans base entire campaigns about a handful of transgenders playing NCAA women's basketball..." its been the same tired trope for decades.

Average annual income is higher in California than in Alaska, Texas, and Florida, and venture capital investment in California is larger than all the other 49 states combined.

Wait, don't you live in Louisiana?
The state you choose to live in has the worst poverty in the nation.

Whats the cost of living in CA compared to those other states?

California has the third highrst cost of living after Hawaii and Massholeachusetts

Housing is expensive here in part because people would like to live here. That's capitalism.
My gasoline is more expensive, but my electric and utilities are cheaper, and my income is significantly higher than demographically comparable people in Texas, Florida, and West Virginia.

Cost of living is insane there. What I could buy a mansion for in Kansas would get me a shack in L.A. but you know that.

Hell no.

The two states I live in are Alaska and Hawaii. Hawaii has an even lower poverty rate than Alaska.
And that’s saying something about Hawaii whose cost of living index is higher than CA.

They would like to live there? Someone should tell these people. Your schools is CA must have fantasy classes where you learn to make up fairy tales. And appears more people want to live in Hawaii and massholeachusetts even though its more expensive to live in both those places

And people would still rather live in hawaii or MA even though they are the only two states more expensive to live in than CA

Haha. California is the ultimate dichotomy. We have the most wealth, leaders in entertainment and innovation and incredible Universities.

At the same time we had the highest poverty rate (until the new numbers just came out and Louisiana overtook us) so now we're #2. We are tied with Connecticut with the highest unemployment rate in the country, we have the largest homeless population and our public education is below average nationally .

my income
The OP was about how great the university system is in CA yet they have a higher than median poverty rate , 23 , (Louisiana being #1 for comparison), not your income.
If you want to brag about your income I have former classmates from LSU and live in lowly Louisiana that would dwarf yours .

I can see why you didn't want to mention your state of Louisiana, because they are economically backward.

Since the 1960s California became the world's fifth largest economy, and a global epicenter for R & D and technological innovation because it invested heavily in infrastructure and higher education.

Infrastructure, innovation, and education are pillars of economic growth. That is Economics 101.

Why would I mention that? I haven’t lived there for decades.
Speaking of that, you once lived there too. Why’d you move there at the time?
You left CA to live in that dump? Very telling.
I’d NEVER leave my two states to go back to that third world banana republic.

Look your claim that housing is more expensive in CA because people want to live there is either a lie or just downright fucking stupid.

You must lurk me more than I ever imagined, and memorize obscure details of my life. Creepy.

I wanted to live in New Orleans for a few years and sample the culture.
