Silicon Valley basically formed around Stanford. Altman went to Stanford, and Musk moved to California to go to Stanford. They have done so much research it is insane to even think they are not known for that.

I didn't say "a class ". I stated that I was never indoctrinated politically in physics, calculus, chemistry, statistics, biology, astronomy, hydrology. I also don't remember any political indoctrination in English, art history, music appreciation, economics, oceanography, or geography.

My Russian history and Chinese history classes did not glorify communism or even try to sugar coat it. It was all very much analytical history.

That still blows my mind. Think about it. He started a PhD in 1971, took about 30 years off, and finished it in 2007. He did not change studies or anything. He put down his work for 30 years, and no one picked it up and finished it, so he was able to finish it 30 years later.

For the sake of discussion, what do you mean by anti-education? Because to me two people can both fancy themselves "pro education" but have very differing ideas on how that should look.
