"I'm a lifelong Republican" - Fetterman

What a huge surprise. lol Remember when he was running for the Senate, how the MAGATs mocked him and the stroke he'd had, said he was "brain dead" and should drop out?
Twatwaddle, everyone knows that as a damaged brain heals, republican beliefs become more rational.
Yours, on the other hand......................................................

He was in recovery during his Senate run. Amazing how a stroke knocked some sense into him. Everyone is surprised.

I doubt if those who voted for him believing him to be a (D) are very happy. Whatever he wants to call himself, IMO he deserves a lot of credit for working hard to recover and run for office in a tough and stressful field. I've been there and it ain't easy.

John Fetterman’s favorability dips as voters see him more as a Republican than a Democrat

A majority of Pennsylvania voters view U.S. Sen. John Fetterman (D., Pa.) more as a Republican than a Democrat as he continues to heavily criticize his party and side with President Donald Trump in some major policy areas, according to an Inquirer/New York Times/Siena University poll published Thursday.

“He insists that he’s not going to be changing parties. However, a lot of people are afraid of that because of the way he has voted,” said Sandra Boyles, a retired teacher and Democrat in Fayette City who believes “a lot of people feel betrayed” by the senator.

Nearly three-quarters of Democrats see Fetterman as a Republican. And roughly half of Republicans feel the same way, as do a similar proportion of independents.

YOu do understand he started his right-ward tilt after having a stroke, right?

IMO it's a shitty and unethical thing to do, to run as a member of one party then switch horses in the middle of your term. I'd be signing a recall petition if I were a PA voter.
