I think the Democrats will eke out a narrow majority in the House and the Senate will remain in Republican hands and very closely divided. This will result in chaos in Congress as the House will start trying to find ways to destroy Trump while letting the country go to Hell in a handbasket. The Senate will remain at an impasse over most things.
 
I voted for a clean sweep by the Dems...and if sanity still remains in the USA, that is the way things will go. BUT...I expect that Trump and his lackeys in DoJ may destroy our voting system in order to keep power with them. If that happens, the Republicans will win everything...sorta like Putin and Xi manage to do.

I know what I want. Though I’m a registered Republican.

1) A Democratic House and Senate, only because with both in Democratic control it’s more likely Trump’s incredibly corrupted (I mean more so than what the Reg Org hacks of both parties usually pull, and if your a hardcore MAGA and dint get that Trump is far worse than that average I’m not explaining it to you again - it is, the numbers say so, deal).

2) We then work toward getting some actual fiscal conservatives elected. I dint care from which party, just actual, old school, fiscal conservatives. We get the revenue back up, the spending cut (without crippling the working and middle classes that feed the capitalist machine).

3) We get some ethics generating, corruption fighting, legislation passed. Campaign finance reform. Insider trading stopped. Inspector generals with real teeth back online.

Bit an end to this madness that’s going to collapse this economy and create a new “Great Depression” before it starts.

Oh, and maybe rail in A.I. before that kills us all as well.

If you spent more time getting to what the OP’s threads are actually about, which is obvious, instead of the self appointed grammar policing, you’d be a more effective contributor to these proceedings.

If the Dems lose the House it won’t be because they cheated. It will be because, once again, the snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Something the Dems are very good at. By once again lost the middle of the nation by being utterly tone deaf. Thus time, more likely than not, by not cutting the ever increasingly communist DSA out if their party, in dusting that of they want to run a separate, non-DNC, communist platform they ought to do it from the Communist Party of America rather ttat the Democratic Party.

And before any of the Dems here say, “it isn’t communist”, read the DSA’s public offerings -including their mission statement. It’s Marxist. Not Democratic Socialism. Flat out, this is what it is, communism.

The DNC is nuts letting them hang about under their tent. They need to insist, and they have the right to under the DNC bylaws, to ask them to leave because their platform defers so greatly from the Reg. Org. Platform. (And by letting them stay they suggest to the electorate that’s not the case).

We saw it last week as well. I hope he gets impeached a third time for using taxpayer money for what is obviously a self-promoting political advertisement -- for himself and his Republikkkan minions.
