If the Dems Win Big in the Midterms, How Much Can They Really Help Iran?

Did Congress declare war? No.
You retard.

Do you think that a surprise attack against the ayatollahs would be a surprise if Tlaib, Omar, Jefferies, AOC et al knew about it an advance?

I will say it again, typing more slowly this time, so that you can read it: do you think that a surprise attack against the ayatollah would be a surprise if Tlaib, Omar, Jefferies, AOC et al knew about it an advance?

That's a super-easy question, but I will give you the answer because you're super-stupid... NO. There's no chance that the ayatollah wouldn't get a heads-up from the Dems in congress if they knew in advance.

In fact, it woulda been a good idea to bring it up in Congress 2 minutes before the strike actually occurred, while pretending it was for the next day, to see if they could catch those guys clicking the"favourites" tab on their phones.

I am not a retard.

No one cares what you think you're "noticing".
Ummm...obviously YOU care. You replied to what I said. I certainly care about what you think you are doing...which, for the same reason, is why I reply to what you write.

Try to keep up!

Best if you take your time...and ACTUALLY think out what you are going to spew.

Anyways, do you think the Dems can help Iran in any meaningful way if they gain control of the senate and/or congress?

Do you think that they're helping the IRGC and Hamas enough right now, or is there more that they could be doing?

The point is Iran's economy is about to collapse entirely, like that of Zimbabwe or Venezuela, to mention two others that similarly collapsed. Sure the ayatollahs and IRGC zealots can hang on to power, but they'll be putting all their effort into just keeping control over the country and little else.

Russia is propping them up but that’s good too as Russia is in no great shakes and anything that pushes Russia closer to the edge is good.

That’s not all on Trump. A lot of it is pre-existing sanctions. Still, I’ll give Trump’s administration props when ever they are doing something right.

What we ought to be doing is stopping the bombing and increasing the economic pressure. Unless and only if the bombing is hitting targets that increase the economic pressure.

We should be bombing the snot out of Iran's transportation system. Take down all the road and rail bridges. Smash the rail yards mostly to destroy the rolling stock and locomotives. Then take down defense related industry like cement and steel plants.

That puts a big hurt on everything.

You're giving too much credit elsewehere (AI Overview):
  1. "At the end of the Obama administration, secondary nuclear-related international and multilateral sanctions had been lifted or waived under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) implementation in January 2016, but major primary U.S. sanctions and non-nuclear restrictions remained in place"
  2. "During his first term (2017–2021), President Donald Trump launched a "maximum pressure" campaign, orchestrating a massive escalation of economic and diplomatic penalties. Following the unilateral U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA nuclear deal in May 2018, his administration enacted over 1,500 new or reimposed sanctions that targeted nearly every sector of Iran's economy"
  3. "Under the Biden administration, whether sanctions increased or decreased depends entirely on the metric used. Formally and legally, there was a net increase in the total number of designated sanctions. However, in practice, there was an effective net decrease in enforcement, which led to a massive surge in Iran's actual oil revenue"
  4. "During his second term, the Trump administration significantly escalated its economic campaign against Tehran by moving past the original "maximum pressure" framework into what officials labeled "Economic D-Day". Since returning to office in 2025, the administration has imposed Iran-related sanctions on more than 1,000 people, vessels, and aircraft. The second-term expansion is defined by structural shifts, aggressive secondary enforcement, and a direct naval blockade.

The chart of sanctions against Iran plummets during Dem administrations and skyrockets under Trump.

The IRGC is currently urging Americans to support the Dems in the midterms, in hopes that the Democrats can help them stay in power, and get some sort of a win out of this war.

But what can the Dems really do for Iran, even with control of both chambers? The president still has a veto over anything that comes out of congress, does he not?

I'm not 100% familiar with the power balance between the WH and congress. Can someone explain how much a Democrat win can/will really help Iran?
Putin worked hard to get trump elected twice my friend. Iran doesn't care about political parties, Wilma. They just want the bombing to stop. Like Obama helped to negotiate the multi-lateral deal that was WORKING and trump scrapped - they know with a Democratic administration they'll have a better chance of getting a peace deal - good for all.

trump has no ability to negotiate a peace deal - he's depending on his dickhead son-in-law and his idiot golf buddy.

Good luck with that dem-bashing, sweetheart!

Reactions: WCM
A Dem House and Senate would still have the problem that Trump does whatever he wants and defies you to stop him. The laws and regulations mean nothing to him.
So what @WCM is trying to do is to paint Dems as appeasers and trump as tough. It's all bullshit. trump is an idiot and a pussy. Once wilma admits it she'll calm down.

Congress has thwarted Trump before, regarding things like the border wall, repealing the ACA, etc, dummy.
Yeah, thank goodness, susie, it was a shitty idea!
I was just asking if the Dems could help the IRGC as much as they'd like to.
Again, the Obama peace deal was working, bitch. Trump scapped it with nothing to replace it - his "solution" was to bomb them into submission. It failed.

Suck our collective dicks, bitch.
