The Milwaukee Brewers remind me of...........

Tell you something else. That team down in Tampa is DAMN GOOD. If the Brewers can hang on to win the National that is going to be one hell of a World series. Evenly matched and well played. Most likely go 7 games.

Its Brats simmered in beer and onions then put on the grill tonight for game 4. What else could you possibly have or WANT?! Baked beans and Tater salad on the side of course. Oh,....and ice cold beer naturally. That's a must.

Hopefully the Brewers win 4-0 and the Rays/Indians have a very long Game 7

Well, Brewers swept a good LA team. Convincingly. Congrats is in order.

They were playing every night for all summer and through the playoffs.
Now, they will break that schedule and party and screw their ladies.
Rays/Indians series is pretty evenly balanced. Don't take either for granted...

A VERY good LA team that has all the big names that money can buy. It was quite helpful to get out of that series with a sweep so that we didn't have to face both Skubal and Yamamoto again. (and we got to save both Miz and Henderson)

True. The 'game after game' rhythm is now over, where they have won 12 of their last 13. Might take a bit to get back into the swing of things after a week off.

True... especially the Rays. They are a very good team, yet the Indians have been solid too and have been giving the Rays a hard fought series so far. Let's just say I didn't expect the Indians to be up 2-1 right now.

But, as a Brewer fan, I'd love to see the Indians make it to the World Series for the "Uecker" theme.

NO WAY IN HELL Murph allows the Brewers to get sluggish while waiting for the American league to get settled. They wont allow themselves to get that way either BTW. This is just nowhere near the Brewers MO. This is a team that even though they had the best record in baseball STILL sees itself as the scrappy underdog team. This in no way guarantees victory in the world series,....but if I were a betting man I know for a fact who I would be putting my money on....LOL I think it goes 6 games no matter who Milwaukee plays,....Brewers in six. But as I say,...anything can happen.

I'm thinking Brewers will have a secret weapon for game FOUR of the world series. A made for TV Hollywood story. The much injured but much loved Brandon woodruff will pitch 3 to four innings of fantastic Baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers. Lifetime ERA.......3.10. Brewers use a 2 inning opener,....bring in Woodruff to pitch innings three thru Five and bridge to bullpen.

I think plenty of fans would love to see Woodruff pitch in the world series (if he's got his stuff, of course).

We could use a decent pitcher for the Game 4 "bullpen game" (even if only for a couple innings) because Dustin May really ain't that guy right now. I know he's got the postseason experience, but he got hammered pretty good last night (and not just Ohtani's homer either). It's too bad Harrison ain't up to snuff yet because he was really great earlier in the year.

I don't think many see the Brewers as a "scrappy underdog". As I said, they beat a good LA team, convincingly.
They'll win the Series, IMO, but will need a full team effort and good pitching.
I'm hoping the Indians beat the Rays, many think the Rays are the better team.
Myself, I'm just a poor Pirates fan... :(

To be clear,....as said I think the TEAM still sees itself as the scrappy underdog. I think Murph instilled that us against the world attitude in them and they relish that role. They are the essence of a team that plays complementary baseball.

Rays won again... They're up 3-2 now, and returning back to home games. It's an uphill battle for the Indians at this point. They're down, but not yet out.

At this point, a Rays vs Brewers World Series is looking the most likely, which would be two franchises that have never won one before.

Yes, the Indians seem to have their backs against the wall.
But they have been there before and came out victorious.
I'm hoping for a Brewers/Indians World Series.

Brewers can actually put up points without having to hit home runs. They're not only the best team in baseball (record-wise), but they're also doing so with a much lower budget than other teams (Dodgers, Yankees, Mets, etc.)

Do I think they'll win the World Series? Probably not, but I do think that IF they get a first round bye, then they'll have a legitimate chance to get to and/or win the World Series.
Essentially you consider the Brewers to be the best pound-for-pound team in MLB.

I'm pulling for the Raiders.
