The last time the "mother" saw the woman, she was a 12 year old girl. That was the time that the "mother" helped her husband become a fugitive from child rape charges. He was wanted by the police until he died.

The "mother" never knew the woman as an adult. I use the word "mother" loosely, because while she is biologically the mother, no real mother would help the man who raped her daughter.

It is disgusting that you would support a child rapist like this.


The truth of the matter was that Cledith Arthur was first arrested for raping his biological daughter. He was indicted for that, but back in 1972 there was no DNA evidence possible, and he threatened his daughter into retracting her statement and fleeing. Donna Arthur(the "mother") married Cledith, giving him access to her child. In 1976, Cledith was arrested and indicted for raping his step daughter.

Cledith was given bail, and Donna was allowed visitation with her daughter. The foster parents complained that she brought Cledith with her to threaten the girl, so Cledith was going to lose his bail... So they decided to run.

Cledith jumped bail with Donna's assistance, and had a felony warrant for his arrest from 1976 to 2004, when he died. Donna was arrested repeatedly for violent crimes, weird crimes(trying to lure children), and monetary crimes. Donna is a convicted felon.

The 12 year old girl rebuilt her life, and went on to become a trusted medical doctor.

THOSE ARE THE FACTS!!! We all know the truth that lies between those facts.

What an incredibly horrible family life, and what an incredible recovery she made in becoming a physician and accomplishing so much in her life despite an unthinkable beginning. I would think decent Ohioans would be proud to vote for this strong, resilient, remarkable woman.

It's also revealing that you call Dr. Acton by her first name in order to minimize her accomplishments, experience, and strength to overcome a horrific childhood with horrific parents.
