The committee wanted to give one to Hitler. They gave one to Obama for doing NOTHING. How much more vacuous and meaningless can such a prize become? I'm not dissing the whole of the prizes given out, just the "Peace" prize.
It has become like a Participation award. It holds no value or meaning because the recipient doesn't have to do anything meaningful to win it.
