While Obama is a specifically hated target for Trump it is not just him.

Trump actually liked and supported Obama and Bill Clinton until he decided to throw his hat in the race to become POTUS.

Trump's narcissism and need to WIN at everything, even if he has to cheat, immediately makes him look at every prior POTUS considered great or loved and to try and tarnish them or knock them down so he can claim and believe he is the 'greatest of all time'.

That is why he turned on Obama, Clinton, Reagan, in tearing up NAFTA which was constantly credited with the modern age of wealth the US enjoyed, and many other prior POTUS.
 
Re the JCPOA you can already see in the prior MOU 20 point plan Trump signed off on, any deal he is likely to cut will be far inferior to the JCPOA it replaces. Iran will end up with significantly more, both in terms of wealth and freedom from inspections, and the world will get far less.

We are not going to get any compliance commitments from Iran even approaching the 2015 JCPOA as long as Trump is president. The whole world knows Trump can't be trusted to stand behind an agreement he signs.

Both Canada and Mexico realize that when Trump illegally tore up NAFTA and demanded a new deal, got it, and proclaimed it the 'best deal ever made' and then in his next term basically tore that deal up calling it terrible while wondering 'who negotiated such a bad deal', that anything they might sign with Trump today, he will just throw out tomorrow if he thinks it politically expediant.

Trump has one philosophy in both contracts and lawsuits which is they only have meaning to him if the other party is strongest to enforce them and fight back. If not they are simply weapons to make the other adhere to rules, rules he will discard the second he wants to.

Poor Kush is likely not getting any new personal enrichment deals, while play acting as a mid east negotiator, now that the countries in the Mid East realize the US is a paper tiger under Trump and that their prior assumption that staying in line with the US was the best way to ensure they were protected.
