The Reflecting Pool still pealing

So trump has surrounded the Reflecting Pool with a fence, and the National Guard. It was already surrounded by so many cameras that no one could mess with it, but OK, it is now triple secure. The Pool's surface has been redone, and is pealing again.

It is time to admit trump cannot figure out a coating for The Reflecting Pool. I think the problem is he thinks it is a pool, like something you swim in. It is more like a pond, or a fountain. It will never be a crystal clear house pool, and was never intended to be so.

Weekends and summers for seven years, and then as a developer a few projects. I lost interest in construction work when I found I could make better money for the amount of work(but not per hour) as a bouncer. I lost interest in real estate investing when it became too time consuming.

Actually, when I was in the Air Force supposedly disabled, I was also working 60 hour weeks doing construction. I argued that meant I was not disabled, but whatever...

Anyway, I was never fully a professional in construction, but I was not a total amateur. I even did a bit of pool work on the side, and installed my own pool lining with a bit of help.

How long were you in the AF, WWW? When I served...two enlistments...the enlistments were four years each.

If a bouncer hurt you, I have to ask why. I as a bouncer made sure everyone had fun. I did not always succeed, but I certainly tried. The problem was that some people try to keep the others from having fun.

You seem to think bouncers are "common thugs." What did a bouncer do to you that you hate them so?

I was having trouble paying for college just doing construction work. They kept telling me to use the GI Bill, but I refused. It was January and I had just replaced a roof(as miserable as it sounds in January cold), and could not find another job for a few days. I rented the film Roadhouse, and watched it. I realized I am athletic and even tempered, so could probably do the job. I applied for some bouncer jobs to fill in the work schedule over the winter, and the next spring decided I would rather do bouncing. As computer programming paid better, and I got a family, I gave up bouncing.

Never heard anyone say volunteering for the Air Force is humiliating. People said it was sad that the Air Force could not honor its commitment to pay for my education, but hard decisions have to be made. They decided my ankle was not healthy enough for me to be an officer, so that is that. The injury to my leg is not humiliating either.

The only humiliating thing I can think of off the top of my head is when I took my children to a Bar Mitzvah and found the synagogue was covered in "maga" and swastika graffiti. In front of my children made it more humiliating.

And yet Trump has proved absolutely useless at two key issues of Construction and that is now undeniable.

- Acting as General Contractor or Project Manager he gets an F grade
- Construction ability and knowledge he gets an F grade

The reflecting pool has shown, that if you had a project you needed done you would NEVER rely on Trump for any element from helping you choose the Trades to what actually needed to be done.

He is entirely useless at those.
