Wow you actually think thats a knock on maga logic? First of all why shouldnt voting be as difficult as getting a gun? Second you need an ID to legally purchase a gun. Making a law to require people to have an ID to vote just brings it up to par with purchasing a gun.
Register your guns, then.Wow you actually think thats a knock on maga logic? First of all why shouldnt voting be as difficult as getting a gun? Second you need an ID to legally purchase a gun. Making a law to require people to have an ID to vote just brings it up to par with purchasing a gun.
Why?Register your guns, then.
Register your guns, then.
Dont confuse the idiotEvery purchase at a gun shop or gun show is registered.
So you're slightly less of a hypocrit?Why?
Look. It is Crepitus. He/she/it was raised in a family environment that normal people would find disturbing and insidious. More importantly illegal. Completely acceptable by democrats and lefties today though.Wow you actually think thats a knock on maga logic? First of all why shouldnt voting be as difficult as getting a gun? Well, we could start with the fact that voting is not a Constitutional right. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that citizens have the right to vote. There are amendments that prohibit blocking a right to vote to certain groups within society, but the right itself is not in the Constitution.
Outstanding!Well, we could start with the fact that voting is not a Constitutional right. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that citizens have the right to vote. Then, yes, you have to prove you are qualified--have the right if you will--to vote. That is, you must prove you are a citizen, where you live, that you are not a felon (assuming that applies), etc. This is very much the same as you have to prove you are qualified to own a firearm. The only difference is each time you purchase a firearm that check is made versus it being done once so long as you live at the same address in the same state with voting.
Records are kept on both.
Then comes a logical fallacy thus:
Criminals cannot own guns. But criminals possess guns. Therefore, it is impossible to stop criminals from getting guns.
The same ill-logic is then extended to voting only with legal voters.
Thus, the premise of the video is a logical fallacy and does not hold up under scrutiny. It is a fail.
Show me where it says in the Constitution that voting is a right. Go for it.
15thm 19th, 24th, and 26th amendments.Show me where it says in the Constitution that voting is a right. Go for it.
Those don't create a right to vote however.15thm 19th, 24th, and 26th amendments.
Make a case for your argument. Oh thats right you cantSo you're slightly less of a hypocrit?

But they do. they were in fact written specifically to do so.Those don't create a right to vote however.

Is the Right to Vote A Constitutional Guarantee or Privilege?
The U.S. Constitution describes a variety of protected rights, excluding an explicit right to vote. Instead, state constitutions determine this.www.collegesoflaw.edu
So, you are wrong. There is no explicit right to vote granted by the Constitution.
They do not create a right to vote, and there is no explicit right enumerated in the Constitution. But they do. they were in fact written specifically to do so.
