So your voting for what's best for you and others ..not just against the other party...It's not just straight politics, there's 3 referendums on the ballot I gotta study.

You forgot to mention that you were required to show a valid photo ID.Very easy, and Florida gave me the choice paper or electronic ballot.
The stylist they ask me to sign with, Makes my signature different than the one on my ID. What a terrible way to determine anything.
Fairly unusual for me, but I voted straight party line. The only amendment I voted for was half cent sales tax increased to support the schools.
No, I did not forget. You forgot to mention that you were required to show a valid photo ID.
Why is it funny? Some people don't want to stand in line. How is convenience funny?Funny how some can drive to drop their ballots off, yet can't drive to a voting pole and vote...

The right wing hates democracy. They do not want people to vote.Funny how some faux patriots think that the only voting methods that should count are the ones they've chosen to use.
I didn't have to show ID. They knew me from the gun club.
I had one with me in case I needed it though.
You haven't explained what's so funny about making voting more convenient. They are lazy then.
They are lazy then.
The right wing hates democracy. They do not want people to vote.
Right, good point.Bingo! Plus you can't post armed goons around polling places to intimidate voters when they've already voted by mail. lol
We do not want non-American illegals to vote, Humey. The right wing hates democracy. They do not want people to vote.
No they're not. Nurses and other hospital staff, for instance, typically work 12 hour shifts, 7 am to 7 pm, and often OT after shift end. (We save the charting for then.) They seldom work close to where they have to go to vote. How many employers will let you leave work, drive half an hour to your polling place, stand in line for an hour or so, vote, then spend another half an hour to get back? Who's covering your patients while you're gone?
A real American would be pleased to see people taking advantage of easier ways to cast their ballots, rather than whining because they don't do it like you do. Didn't your dad fight in a war to ensure that we keep that sacred right?
No ID? Fraud!
Our former neighbors were the poll workers at our precinct, until they moved. They knew us, obviously, but we still had to show ID. I've been voting -- in two different states and several jurisdictions -- since I was 18. I have never once not had to show ID.
My Election Day voting story...
Our polling location was moved farther away this year.
I get there, and there are two lines. Naturally, I pick the shorter one.
Finally get to the front, give the lady my name.
“Sorry, no registration under that name. Maybe you're in the wrong line?”
Fine.
I jump into the other line. Much longer wait.
Finally get to the front.
Same story. No registration.
Then the lady from the FIRST line shouts over:
“WHAT WAS YOUR NAME AGAIN?”
I repeat my name.
“Oh! Found it!”
JFC.
Clearly voter intimidation. First they move my polling place farther away, then they make me stand in TWO lines just to vote.
I'm practically a victim of democracy.
