He was removed as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court (and subsequently re-elected) for refusing to comply with a ruling, and suspended for telling 68 state probate judges that a 2015 Alabama Supreme Court order to refuse marriage licenses to gay couples remained in "full force and effect."

I thought he was utterly unacceptable for the Senate before the child abuse came out...

I am amazed that the Republican Congressional Committee and the President are supporting a child abuser for Congress, especially one who has been removed from office for breaking the law.

It’s Alabama and the reason he was removed just endears him to these people.

I don't believe any October surprise style announcements of past behavior.

If they choose to wait years and the timing is the most politically hurtful, I find them to be very questionable.

17 is legal in a lot of states

a bit creepy but mostly a non issue

and back in the old days it was much more routine

even in the 90s jerry seinfeld had a 17 year old girlfriend when he was in his late 30's

this isn't some crazy outside of the mainstream thing. 17 isn't like 11 or anything.

Be honest and admit that you hate all Republicans, especially those who advocate Christianity.

You want Doug Jones in the Senate because you want Trump's tax reform to fail, don't you?

Brad himself has expressed his opinion on such matters, and they seem to be at odds with his current statements.

I don't like candidates who promote theocracy, but that is not only Christians.
I am not running for Congress.
I would not support a candidate who has been twice removed from office for refusing to follow the law.
I would not support a candidate who has creditable allegations of child abuse in their past.
