Plenty of Conservatives and bOTHsIDeRisTs have argued for 50 years that lower taxes will lead to increased revenues from spending, except that never once happened and every single time Conservatives cut taxes, an economic catastrophe was waiting for them by the end of their term.

There hasn't been a successful Republican Presidency since Eisenhower (who would be a liberal today), and there hasn't ever been a successful Conservative Presidency and there never will be one because Conservatism always fails.
