As pathetic as it is, mass shootings have become as American as apple pie. We got to be the only developed nation in the world that experiences a horrific act and does nothing about it, they just come again and again and again.

When twenty elementary school kids can be massacred with a semi-automatic weapon and nothing is done tells you what kind of society we appear to be living in and what our future holds.

Well, most mass shootings, if I'm not mistaken take place in higher crime areas. Yes, technically it could happen anywhere but a lot of things could happen anywhere as well.

Most is relative given that we experience so many, probability may increase in some areas, but as we have seen, it can, and often does, happen where you would least expect it, and regardless, nothing is done no matter where it occurs
