The best way to look at temperature change is when there is ice on the poles.
ice on the poles = good
no ice on the poles = bad

The graph clearly shows there was no ice on the poles 2/3 of the time. Our goal as humans is to keep ice on the poles.

Let's assume that's 100% accurate. We--humans--didn't cause those previous temperature excursions that are pretty dramatic. I doubt the relatively small contribution humanity makes to planetary warming is anything close to a even minor cause of such events.

Paleontology has proven the accuracy. Humans have the technology to prolong ice on the poles but the graph makes it clear that eventually ice will again disappear from the poles.

The envelope of the atmosphere is very thin and fragile. Its best chance of survival would be if there were no Climate Deniers in it.
