Well, I thought it was a good speech

Parts of it had me thinking that I was living in a new military dictatorship, but parts sounded positively bleeding-heart libby.

Overall, I thought it was really good delivery on a pretty well-written speech.
 
Hillary gave a pretty basic Democratic economic speech with her proposals. Oh wait, that was Trump who gave us those proposals.
 
trump has no where to go but up. He has set expectations so low that people are going to be LOVING him in a year or two
 
i didn't see the speech so i can't comment. So far I have seen very fake news liking it. wonder if he started appealing too much to the normies O_o
 
The best part of the entire speech was watching the morons dressed in white and the rest of the idiots with them, making complete
and utter fools of themselves for a whole hour.....what entertainment, what drama queens.....if the channel you were watching
didn't put the camera on them, you really missed something....
 
The Democrats are a complete disgrace to our country.

If something goes wrong during this time because they are obstructing the running of our country, you will see a fucking scorched earth reaction from the former silent majority that will ring across the world.

We're patient...

I have seen a few conservative commentators talk about that. Incredible amnesia from the last 8 years.

solid.. and the end was aspirational..in other words I thought he claimed the presidency.
it was basically a "yes we can" delivered from a nationalist p.o.v.
He even said he works for the American people -that's his constituents -not some vague world order,
and not a foreign policy artificially focused on human rights or globalism

It was forward looking. he frequently mentioned the upcoming 250 anniversary of 1776 .
Yankee Doodle..I'm a sucker for patriotism.

Oh..on healthcare? he bought into the Ryan Plan 100%
 
Keith Ellison and Debbie Schultz not standing for the Navy Seal wife was a strange one. Yes I get this event is all political theatre but this woman was in the audience. What was the logic?

They didn't stand because they didn't want to normalize or legitimize the clown that is in office.

She should have been standing with her father In law demanding answers against from the man that got him killed.
 
That was the best speech I've ever seen him give.

The reality is, he has set a low bar. But I think that pretty much any President giving that speech would get a "good job" from most of us.
