Why are they trying to eliminate the presidential records act?

Created just after watergate as an attempt to stem corruption, it requires all records ( everything including memos texts emails every document of any type created during the administration) be kept and turned over to NARA. Those records belong to the people, not to the president. He's not allowed to shred them burn them hide them or take them home and store them in his bathroom.

The only reason I can even begin to think of for destroying all those things is to hide crimes.

Or they want to let Trump take more of our secrets to MAR so he can show / give / sell them to the Chinese.
I still haven't got an answer to my question from any MAGAS yet.
How do we know FOR SURE and I mean FOR SURE Trump didn't give / sell some of our secrets to the 12 Russians he had in the WH the last time he was in office without any other American there to watch what was going on.
As the CIA/ NSA/ FBI all came out and said it was very suspicious that not long after that meeting there was an unexplained increase in our deep cover agents being found and killed.
Did Trump show them how to do it?

Would you like a list?

1. To hide illegal activity
2. To delete Trump's most embarrassing/treasonous/childish/stupid/false/egregious social media posts
3. So he won't have to keep flushing them and clogging up the WH toilets.
4. He can't read them and doesn't want you to, either.
5. Give historians more ammo when they write about the fiascos of his tenures.

We don't know for sure, but since Trump is very transactional and only motivated by money, it would be normal for him to pocket as much wealth as he can by selling intelligence to Putin and Xi.

And the MAGAS condone this action, heck they even condone Trump stomping on the Constitution.
The Emolument clause in particular.
He has been making millions and it states right in the Constitution that Presidents are NOT suppose to receive any more money then his pay for being President.
It is time Congress looks into this and other things Trump has been doing and do something about it.
But the Republican't in Congress are afraid of him and won't do a thing about it.
Heck they can't even pass a bill that requires a simple majority.

Sad but true. Trump lied about putting America First. He puts himself first and doesn't care who gets screwed by it.

He is billions of dollars richer after winning the election where he claimed to end the war in Ukraine and reduce grocery prices on day one plus never engaging in forever wars and other pie-in-the-sky promises.
