Susan Sarandon prefers Donald Trump over 'status quo' Hillary Clinton presidency

Susan Sarandon might find herself voting for Donald Trump if Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee.

The actress revealed on Monday that Trump might be a better choice than Clinton because "some people feel Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately."

“If he gets in, then things will really explode," she told MSNBC.

When pressed on whether a Trump presidency could be dangerous Sarandon said: “If you think that it’s pragmatic to shore up the status quo right now, then you’re not in touch with the status quo."

I read up on her political beliefs and she is staunchly left. Her statements are exactly what I've been talking about. Trump is a joke, but, people (possibly myself included) want to shake things up. Trump is such a buffoon there is little he could do to harm this country. USA has checks and balances to reign Trump in.

I ma surprises that she would say that, makes you wonder how many more on the Left feel the same way?

I agree. After reading up on her political beliefs, I was surprised. At first I didn't understand why it was even a news story, then I read about her political viewpoints.

well...the executive orders are not unconstitutional.. unless they are "legislative",
but they are hard ( not impossible)to roll back by the courts..

Best if Congress simply plays it role and legislates, but Congress can't do that..so everything stays broken and gridlocked

They did legislate, he just ignores. Far more than exec orders involved here.

well there is a certain amount of "administrative discretion". Generally the executive can prioritize administrative duties.
But I completely agree with you here that Obama has -in many cases - willfully ignored the will of Congress.

There is that immigration case (DARPA?) if it ever gets to the SCOTUS that will be determinative

Not that it matters much, but;

Sarandon later clarified on Twitter that she was not saying she would ever vote for Trump.
"LOL that I would ever vote Trump," she tweeted late Tuesday with a link to a story that appeared to characterize her comments that way.
