The Democrats won the popular vote with one of the worst candidates they have ever run, with the FBI conspiring against her in the final week, and in a land where the demographics are changing radically in their favor with each passing year. Next election they can look forward to running a better candidate against a guy who people can't stand almost as much as Hillary.

What you failed to consider is that Trump was a flawed candidate in some ways; so much so, it nearly cost him the election. But he laid the electoral groundwork for future candidates that can follow the same path in the future.

Don't count on the next one to shoot himself in the foot like Trump did.

The 'Red Wall' will be there for future democrats to contend with in 2020. My advice to them, for whatever it's worth, is to condescend less to red state voters. Go look at the current electoral map with all the red in it. Call them racist less.

Or go ahead and keep doing what you're doing. Keep in mind the definition of insanity is doing the same thing that doesn't work, over and over.
