The United States now has an unelected leader

War! War between patriots and fascists! Trump supporters aren't Americans! They have no right to cast a ballot!

The Electoral College is the key? (laughing) Fucking moron.

It is a way to elect someone more people DON'T want than do.

Again...some people are simply a product of a Dumb Downed Liberal education. This election is won by the STATES...not the people. This is a Republic ....a UNION of 50 states....each independent of the other, each with its own constitution and common law and state government establishment. Each one of those states is represented within by a popular vote....but for the common welfare and common defense of this UNION the federal Commander in Chief is elected by the states in an equal fashion depending upon the number of senators and congressmen/women that represent each state ...its called an electoral college and its existed as long as the Constitution has existed, as this Union is not a social democratic republic....its a representative republic, guaranteed REPUBLICAN REPRESENTATION in the U.S. Constitution (Article 4, Section 4, Clause 1), not social POPULAR representation.

Brief history lesson for dumb downed liberals. The Electoral College has a 100% historical confirmation precedent. If you fascist liberals and progressive politicians pretending to be conservative could have stolen an election via Electoral College manipulation it would have been the 2000 election where the President Elect was confirmed with a mere 271 vote. But its entertaining as hell watching you characters going through the 5 stages of grief. Popcorn? :)

.

yes gomer....its the key....Dems have shown they don't understand the electoral college in election after election......understandable since they've only had around 250 years to study it and they are notoriously slow learners.......

So why bother to vote?

Its simple.....you vote for representation WITHIN your state. The state of California should not dictate common law to the state of North Carolina...and vice versa. Again...this is a republic, what's so difficult to comprehend about that reality? There are 50 States, each with their own state constitution and common laws that serve the population within that state. The federal government has nothing (as in power or wealth)...that these 50 individual states does not GIVE IT. This is the UNITED STATES of America.

Is England controlled by Germany, Germany by the citizens of France, etc.,? Of course not. But there is a European Union. That's the reason Brexit came about...the people of London were growing tired of some self professed elitist of a foreign nation telling them how they could cook, what to cook with, how much soda they could drink...etc.

The STATES of the U.S simply gave the federal government a big middle finger and demonstrated to it....JUST WHERE THE REAL POWER in this nation resides....just as described in Article 10 of the State Bill of Rights (Amendment # 10)

The power and scope of the Federal Government is limited by the actual words of the Constitution. That which is not written in a verbatim fashion belongs to the STATES/PEOPLE. Its not rocket science....hell the entirety of the our founding documents were drafted at an 8th grade reading and comprehension level. Are all progressive liberals stating that they are incapable of reading at a middle school level? Of course they are not....they are "feigning" ignorance and the sad thing....the dumb downed average person is not feigning anything...they actually are that ignorant due to liberal education...they have never been instructed in historical truth, most can't even name any president past their actual lifespan.

They do not even comprehend the fact they are living and are protected by a Republican type Government as guaranteed in Article Four, Section Four, Clause One of the Constitution...they have been lied to...they have been taught that they live in a pure social democracy. That's the reality in a nutshell.

The Big Lie is exposed every time the Electoral College elects a president through republican representation (not republican as party which did not come into existence until a Abe Lincoln ran as a 3rd party candidate)....but republican in describing just how a true REPUBLIC works....and its nothing like a social democracy where mob rule can and often does induce violence....just look on the majority of the streets of these dumb downed children...this is not an expression of the 1st amendment, as the first amendment right of free speech and government partition must act within the bounds of COMMON LAW. This is radical anarchy propagated by ignorance and propaganda.

The reality? Just yesterday one of the major networks decided to interview one of the "COLLEGE" student protesters....that's right a person supposedly being a product of higher leaning....and what came out of this young person's mouth? He said...the lizard people had finally taken over our government. And the sad thing....he believed what he was fighting for. Its a sad day in the United States...when reality melts with pure fiction and fantasy. Get real...does anyone actually believe our government is populated by a covert group of alien lizard people wearing human disguises?

I literally laughed my ass off...I almost fell from my office chair. :palm:

Truth: There is a democracy residing with in these United States of America.....in fact there are 50 states that use democracy. But this UNION of the 50 states is not a democracy, its a Republican Union...voted on not by the peoples within those 50 democratic states...popular vote count, but voted on based upon the total number of state representatives sent to DC to oversee the FED....each Electoral Vote is representative of each Senator and Congressman/women within each state based upon that's states total population....not the total population of ALL 50 STATES combined. This republic has been served at the federal level by an Electoral Voting system since there has been a United States Constitution....and that Electoral College reveals a 100% confirmation precedent over that same time period, not once has the popular vote ousted any President Elect....not one time in this republic..why?

This is a FEDERALIST REPUBLIC CENTRAL GOVERNMENT....not a pure DEMOCRACY. The democracy that counts rest at home, at the local and state level....where the people actually know and comprehend the needs of their communities...something that a self professed elitist could not possibly know or comprehend several thousand miles divorced from such a democracy.

UK governments are not decided by popular vote but by how many MPs are elected. The party with an overall majority becomes the government.

As a Christian and constitutional conservative I'm not personally thrilled to see Trump as our president just as I wouldn't have been thrilled about Clinton, but he was fairly elected within the rules of our system and so he has four years to prove himself and try to earn my vote.

the Russians tampered with the election so NO it was not fair

WASHINGTON — A leading Republican lawmaker is calling for investigations into alleged Russian cyberhacks during the US election despite President-elect Donald Trump’s repeated calls for warmer ties with Moscow.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican and one of the chamber’s most experienced foreign policy hands, said the attempt by a foreign country to interfere with the US voting process needs better understanding and a vigorous response.
“Assuming for a moment that we do believe that the Russian government was controlling outside organizations that hacked into our election, they should be punished,” Graham told reporters Tuesday. Referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Graham added that, “Putin should be punished.”
Graham, who wants the hearings to examine all Russia’s “misadventures throughout the world,” has the support of colleagues on both sides of the aisle. As other Republicans issued warnings about Russian activities, the hearings could become a source of tension between the GOP and the new President.
“You could see, going forward, a Congress that’s really at loggerheads with the White House on policy toward Russia,” said Angela Stent, director of the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies at Georgetown University.
Graham, who ran against Trump in the Republican primaries, admitted that “clearly Donald and me have issues.” But he added that he’ll do “everything I can to help him because he will be commander in chief in dangerous times.”
Russia, Graham said, is a “bad actor.”
To that end, Graham said hearings into Russia’s activities should also address Moscow’s annexation of Crimea and interference in Ukraine, its cyberattacks against US allies, and examine whether Russia is guilty of war crimes due to its intervention and bombing campaign in Syria.
