As for the Founding Fathers, I'm not sure how much you think you know about them, but their thoughts did not suggest people who disagree with the government or the direction of the country should move. Their thoughts was that those who find attacks on freedom and liberty should move to change the government.

It's called the Declaration of Independence.

Would I have moved if Trump lost ?...Of course not. I accept the outcome of elections. I wouldn't claim that the laws governing those be changed....

I would not bitch about the Electoral College method...nor the demanded recounts from idiots that don't even have a chance to compete...or to try to throw the
election into the House of Representatives....nor march on the streets, rioting, looting, etc....

I didn't particularly like the reign of Obama, but I accepted it.....didn't march around then either....

If you think someone is attacking your freedom somehow, by all means be heard, its you right and duty to speak up....but at least have the courtesy to
wait until it actually happens before you go off the deep end....

Trump is an act of desperation, the circling of the wagons.

But we've seen this movie before and know how it ends.

Take the wider view .. this could well be the absolute best thing to happen to this nation.

ONLY they will be blamed for his failures .. and the ignorance of right-wing thought while be glaringly exposed for all the world to see.

Your right here. I have voted Democrat and Republican. America is great because we can vote to change it. Parties change but the right to vote doesnt.

:0) I disagree with you brother .. respectfully of course.

Movement doesn't come from quiet people. It comes from energized, engaged, and passionate people. 'Civil' changes nothing. SEE: the Boston Tea Party and the plethora of history that demonstrates that.

Had African-Americans stayed quiet and civil, we still might not have even basic human rights today. Change REQUIRES loud, passionate and uncivil people. Not at all concerned that somebody else won't like it.

The Electoral College needs to be addressed. It's outdated and often not a true reflection of the will of the people. That would be true no matter who won this election.

Rigged and recounts was the mantra of Trump supporters .. before Trump 'won.' Now, they're looking for civility and accept the results. :0)

Would you have been inviting them out the door if your site was filled with that from the right .. because it most certainly was before Trump 'won.'
