Trump rips John Lewis: Worry about your ‘crime infested’ district

I don't recall the intelligence community getting sucked into the birther issue, but maybe I missed it.
I don't think they were. it was always some fringe movement..
then again I never thought they would be reporting on Russian dezinformatsiya fed to former British intellegence agents..

So much Spy vs. Spy stuff going around..

By the end of the week we'll finally start to learn something.

You ALWAYS do this. In order for something to be comparable, every aspect of it has to be the same.

The birther movement was just as intense an effort to delegitimize a President as anything the anti-Trump crowd is doing. It was sustained for years, and was LEAD by the current President-Elect. You can try to marginalize it, but the history is written. No one buys your BS except those immersed in the Trump koolaid.

i think we're done. some dude hired an ex-Brit Intelligence agent to do opposition research.. The Russian intelligenge fed the Brit trash, and the Brit tried to peddle it, but it was seen as trash except by McCain who turned it over to the FBI.

That should have been the end of it -except it was leaked, and the USA intelligence community says it wasn't them
(so who was it?) -meanwhile the IC decided to brief Obama and eventually Trump

It's spy vs.spy running around in circles with junk "info"

“Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk — no action or results. Sad!”

The district that Trump described as in “horrible shape” includes Emory University and Morehouse College, as well as Spelman College and Georgia Tech. The Coca-Cola headquarters is just one of that district’s many, high-profile corporate residents. Lewis represents Midtown’s shiny residential high-rises and the pricey Intown neighborhoods filled with renovated homes, the Beltline and Ponce City Market.

The typical cost of a house in the most sought-after neighborhoods within Georgia’s 5th Congressional District ranges from over $500,000 to $1 million, said Bill Adams, whose real estate company has operated in the district’s neighborhoods for years. “Certainly there are major pockets of poverty, but the central core of Atlanta is flourishing — big time,” Adams said. “He’s thinking about a different Atlanta than the one I live and work in.”

Census figures show the median income in the congressional district was $48,017 in 2015 and the poverty rate was 21 percent. That’s less prosperous than the nation as a whole, where the median income was $55,775 and the poverty rate was 14.7 percent. But about 1 in 5 households in the district had annual incomes over $100,000 and over 40 percent had a college degree, compared with the nation as a whole where 19 percent were college grads.

Atlanta, including the 5th District are booming.

Wow, you have really lost your mind.

I don't understand what happened to you.

It is a bit like a Clancy novel lol.

It's going to peter out, but the democrats aren't going to. Something will be next.

Democrats have become unhinged.

So, Lewis' precinct is in good shape and Donald Trump is the duly and fairly elected president of the US.

With that settled, can we move on now lol?

Anyone who calls John Lewis thin skin, does not know who John Lewis is. Representative Lewis was beaten on the William Petis Bridge while marching with Dr. Martin Luther King Junior. Representative Lewis was arrested many times well forcing the civil rights movement to happen. Representative Lewis is anything but thin skinned.

Clapper's always has been a jerk -Brennan a staunch advocate of IC power.
Time for them to go,and this might settle down- regardless of the hysterical Dems
