Ronald Ragan conceived NAFTA. His vision was finally realized in the 90s. The fact is that NAFTA Is a net jobs gain for the United States. Rump used Americans ignorance about NAFTA as a campaign rally cry, now he's weaseled his way out for filling the promise you made. You are so duped.

Trump sez he wants to "renegotiate NAFTA" - which will happen.
If it doesn't (according to Spicer) then the US would pull out

Right....Reagan did it, it was not Bill "Blowjob" Clinton and his lawyer wife who made a living from the import of cheap walmart shit when she helped defeat every union attempt that Sam Walton pointed to....its they who brokered and added two supplements to the NAFTA alliance. NNAEC and the NAALC.

Labor and Environment ...that basically allowed Mexico to decide their own labor laws and environmental protection (there is nothing more corrupt than a Mexican Politician. US CORPORATIONS do not pull out of the United States and relocate to Mexico...for the weather, they do so because of the over regulation of both labor costs compared to Mexico and the Totalitarian EPA here in the US. LMAO

he said he wont leave nafta "for right now"

it's called negotiation you retard. be prepared to walk away. They will give him a good deal or he walks, and they know it.

When the other side knows you're not going to walk, it becomes absolutely impossible to make a good deal - Donald J Trump April 28 2016

You claimed to support Bernie Sanders who voted against NAFTA and doesn't support NAFTA. Were you duped?

You would love it if it was not Clinton who signed it.... Reagan's vision and all.

No, that is only one of the few things I disagree with Sanders about. I have the ability to support someone while not being lock step with them.

Trump Killing Nafta Could Mean Big Unintended Consequences for the U.S.

Ending the deal would hurt American manufacturers. For consumers, backing out might mean price increases on everything from cars to fruits and vegetables

1. America's biggest export market would be jeopardized

U.S. goods exports to Canada and Mexico have quadrupled since Nafta took effect in 1994, rising to about $550 billion last year. That’s more than sales to China, Japan, the U.K., Germany, South Korea, Brazil, India, Russia and Hong Kong combined.

2. Jobs already gone wouldn't return

"If we didn’t have Nafta, would things like clothing and automobiles that are produced in Mexico be produced in the United States? No," said David Gantz, who teaches trade law at the University of Arizona. "They’d be produced in China or somewhere that the labor costs are a lot lower. One needs to look at what the alternatives would be."

3. The American economy overall would lose

Hufbauer estimates that Nafta trade growth makes the U.S. $127 billion richer each year, not only because of the boost to American exporters but also because of these benefits to U.S. consumers. That's about $400 per person.

"It’s not always visible to people because much of the benefit is at the checkout counter," Hufbauer said.

4. American drivers could pay more for gasoline

Nafta gives the U.S. preferential access to oil, limiting the scenarios in which Canada can restrict energy exports to the U.S. If the U.S. didn’t import oil from its Nafta partners, it could do so at higher cost from other countries, some of which aren’t as friendly to the U.S. as Mexico or Canada.

Anyone who thinks Canada and Mexico don't have leverage ... think again.
