Democrats don't fight for progressive policies and are happy to exist in the center without giving liberals a seat at the table. Which is why you have a failing healthcare system which simply propped up the insurance market -- a sickness in American healthcare. The Democratic party has been built on Clintonian triangulation for the past 30 years, and that's why they are now a minority party. You move to the center, you cede the middle ground because now the right-wing have hedged right.

Democrats don't fight for progressive policies. They fight for middle-of-the-road policies that are backed by special interests groups like the drug companies, the banks, or Wall Street.

Meanwhile, the Republicans (who have moved a million miles to the right) obstruct their way to victory.

The Dems have two options:

1) Reward Republicans for their obstruction by meeting them half way to a million.

Obama pulled troops out of Iraq because of both Bush's timeline and Iraq's refusal to sign the SOFA. Iran sued America for their own money in international court, and America got a sweet deal by paying only a portion of what they owed and would have otherwise had to pay.

Well, what do you suggest? Iraq would have been able to put American soldiers on trial if not for a Status of Forces Agreement. And if they asked Americans to leave altogether, which they did, then the only alternative is to illegally occupy the population.

That sound like good foreign policy to you?
