President Donald Trump trolled investigators charged with probing Russia's interference in the 2016 election at a rally in Huntington, West Virginia, on Thursday night.

"Have you seen any Russians in West Virginia or Ohio or Pennsylvania," Trump asked rhetorically as the crowd at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena cheered.

"Are there any Russians here tonight, any Russians?" :)

Trump revived an old attack on Democrats, saying the Russia investigation was motivated by Democrats who remain bitter over his November election victory. "We didn't win because of Russia," Trump said at the rally. "We won because of you."

The FBI's investigation, led by special counsel Robert Mueller is expanding. The career prosecutor has selected a grand jury, which has already been at work for several weeks, and has already issued subpoenas seeking documents and testimony in the case, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

By voting for Trump, West Virginia effectively became a province of Russia and ceased to be American. Let's take it back and enforce military rule on it, America's Russian conquest. The West Virginians are not capable of ruling themselves and need to be civilized like the dogs they are.

This is an attempt to deflate a legitimate argument and investigation (e.g. collusion with Putin) by presenting the argument in an absurd way ("Any Russians here in West Virginia?").

Also, not sure who Trump is actually trolling. West Virginians? Russians?

Regardless, we know that Russians troll Trump better -- such as when they just recently called him weak, humiliated, and outwitted.

He was saying you the people are whom elected me, and I'm here as your representative in government.
Forget the elites and their Russiaphobia/fake collusion and keep the faith in the American people choosing their government

There are probably so many great jokes that could be made with the Russian angle. Sadly, conservatives have always sucked at comedy. They appear to be good at treason though.

Conservatives suck at comedy because satirical humor cannot be perceived by arboreal dwelling hominids. They know their audience. They trade in family guy, married with children and formulaic situational comedies with laugh tracks so internalized they don't even hear them anymore. Republicans are that dumb.
