Precisely! How long ago did Maria wipe out PR? And Trump is JUST NOW getting around to visiting the island?
Disgraceful.
Hilarious. Now Puerto Rico is "wiped out".

But this guy wasn't??? Gov. Ricardo Rossello's New Progressive Party, LOL!!!!!!

I never once claimed that ILA/ToxicTrumpkin said anyone was dancing in the streets.

He already has.

You're really losing badly.

Sorry, but several JPP Righties had already turned this into a political issue long before I joined the discussion.

Sorry - outstanding FEMA efforts aside, Trump has failed Puerto Rico, and this is now his Katrina.
Because he took a week when people were starving, stranded and suffering, and made it about football players not standing during a song before a ball game.
He could have used his tweets and national megaphone to help marshal volunteer efforts, fundraising, donations & awareness. I mean, imagine being homeless in PR right now, waiting 4-6 hours for a bottle of water or gallon of gas, hoping to find loved ones and to someday - probably years from now - try to get back to some semblance of reality...and hearing that Trump is bragging that his talk about a football league has really "caught on" and focusing most of his attention on a game.
Houston's still cleaning up, Florida's still cleaning up. What the heck is going on here? An entire island state is flooded, flattened and destroyed and in 1 week you expect full supplies of groceries, water, electricity (where allllllllllll poles are down), phone communications and rebuilt homes, hospitals, schools and stores? Most of you have never even been through a major destructive hurricane. Well, I've been through 5 of them and it's no picnic and takes a few weeks to get your BASIC life in order again...and that's right here stateside. People pull together and make it through. People here in the central part of the state didn't see the first Red Cross supply of water until 4 days after Irma passed. And, none of the Hollywood telethon elite ordered and paid for any 18-wheelers filled with bags of ice from commercial ice houses to be sent here while it was 95 during the day and 85 at night. Nobody around here complained though because most stocked up on basic survival supplies PRIOR to the storm. And, we shared with others.
The Puerto Ricans have all but been annihilated over there. Hopefully, they can start getting the women, kids, elderly and infirmed out of there and bring them here to stay with family and friends. The men can stay there as men have always done to pitch in with organizations and military to take care of the clean-up and rebuilding. They could be provided with tents and meals during the next 6 months or so to get back to some form of livable civilization. This is the reality.

They've contracted PRIVATE companies to do the job they can't do. PRIVATE.

Well, if I was PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, I'd be spending most of my time right now focused on the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico.

Is that something new?
Thing 1 has evidently never gone through major hurricanes. Waiting 4 hours for water, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, it's something that is always ignored by liberals.
Can you point out exactly where in the OP - or anywhere - where I said that everything should be solved right now, or implied that Trump has failed because the area is still in a state of crisis?
I'm looking forward to your finding that.
