Will you watch pampered Millionaire Liberals piss & shit on the Flag for T-day?

When they are on the field, they are employees, Stupid. :palm:

Their fat cat bosses let them do this in order to get Millenials excited about the NFL.

Sad haters starting obnoxious gossip, and blather, even on the holidays. God save the haters, because they certainly can't save themselves.

Liberals always want conservatives to bail them out. The whole leftwing ideology is based on the principle that liberals can Not care for themselves :palm:

NFL Ratings Slump Worsens As ESPN Forced To Slash $80 Million In Salary

The embattled league saw ratings dip 6.3% in Week 11 meaning 1 million fewer people tuned in to see players take a knee during the national anthem versus last year.

ESPN is poised to slash an estimated $80 million in salaries and other costs in coming weeks, sources tell Sporting News.

The third round of layoffs in two years at the Disney-owned sports network is expected to come down after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. Sporting News broke the news that ESPN planned to lay off up to 60 people in late November and early December. Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated followed up with a report that said 100 positions could be impacted.

ESPN lost a whopping $1 billion in affiliate revenue after dropping 13 million subscribers, according to the SportsBusiness Journal. Rather than driving Disney's profits, ESPN has been dragging them down, spooking Wall Street analysts.

Hey asshole, how bout those first amendment rights?

Actually, the protests have nothing to do with the first amendment. That's about the government passing laws to limit free speech, which isn't happening in this case. This is a political and cultural issue, not a constitutional topic.

None of what's been done is disrespecting the flag. Even if it was disrespecting the flag, disrespecting the flag is not disrespecting soldiers, or the everyday American. It is a swipe at the injustice, and crookedness of leaders, and those that shame the people. When people burn flags, it's against the government, and injustices created by said country. In the end, why should anyone stand for a country, when that country doesn't stand for them? And why should anyone think that kneeling, equates the same as burning, or defecating on a flag?

You want to see an actual meaningless attack, or gesture towards the flag? I found this. Of course considering all the disrespect, and scandal lately it might be appropriate. See if you can get a feel for the difference between it, and kneeling in protest of injustice.

Don't kid yourself, Jade.

The national anthem is a story about a POW watching American soldiers battle for freedom. The millionaire kneelers are pissing and shitting on our vets and all the people that have fought/fight for our freedom, from the founding fathers until today.

The Leftwing nutjobs have politicized everything. On a day of Thanks and unity, we can expect filthy rich libs to piss and shit on America.

And there is a theory that the NFL are allowing their employees to air their hatred for America on national TV, in order to attract new viewers (comsumers), i.e. millenials. Millenials that may have been turned off by the Liberal uproar over sports injuries, i.e. concussions .... back when the Left was waging war on the NFL instead of cheering it.

Nope

Key was not himself a POW, Big Dog. He was a negotiator.

During the War of 1812, Key, accompanied by the British Prisoner Exchange Agent Colonel John Stuart Skinner, dined aboard the British ship HMS Tonnant as the guests of three British officers: Vice Admiral Alexander Cochrane, Rear Admiral George Cockburn, and Major General Robert Ross.

Skinner and Key were there to negotiate the release of prisoners, one of whom was Dr. William Beanes, a resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, who had been arrested after jailing marauding British troops who were looting local farms. Skinner, Key, and Beanes were not allowed to return to their own sloop because they had become familiar with the strength and position of the British units and with the British intent to attack Baltimore.

Thus, Key was unable to do anything but watch the bombardment of the American forces at Fort McHenry during the Battle of Baltimore on the night of September 13–14, 1814.

At dawn, Key was able to see an American flag still waving. Back in Baltimore and inspired, Key wrote a poem about his experience, "Defense of Fort M'Henry", which was soon published in William Pechin's American and Commercial Daily Advertiser on September 21, 1814.

He took it to Thomas Carr, a music publisher, who adapted it to the rhythms of composer John Stafford Smith's "To Anacreon in Heaven", a popular tune Key had already used as a setting for his 1805-song "When the Warrior Returns", celebrating U.S. heroes of the First Barbary War. (Key used the "star-spangled" flag imagery in the earlier song).

Thank you for the correction.

:clink:

I should have said ... the view from a POW ship

Yea...and vowing to kill all the slaves who opted to fight for Britain, as they were treated like humans by that side.
