Time Magazine

Or if it had been Trump again this year.
I've already said. I would have been happy as long as it wasn't Kaep and Kim. But, really. Think about it.
It's TIME.
Nothing but a participation award these days...
As far as President Trump? I'm strictly a Never Hillary person.
As for "WeToo"? Is that a "cause" like the Kaepernick kneelathon? More of a jab at President Trump than anything else when it all boils down to it? I wish if people wanted to make a difference, they'd just actually do something...

They are doing something and it’s big and it’s not going away.

It’s #MeToo and it’s very telling you are aware of it and what it represents.

I think this year changed everything on that front. I think more & more women are going to come forward, and the harassers and predators are on notice now.

I'm amazed that some still don't get it.

Yep - they're heroes.

It takes an immense amount of courage to come forward like they have. As we have seen, they are ruthlessly attacked once they do. Many would have risked their careers to come forward alone (and we have seen that in the Weinstein case).

Your ignorance gets really old & tired after awhile.

nah it didn't take much courage. the whole movement is named after lemming like thinking. they were afraid to do anything until others joined in. They couldn't have done it on their own, because of the very fact that they were scared.

That's deranged.

Sorry - completely out of touch w/ reality. You don't relate well to certain situations.

how can you honestly answer it's not going away vs. just being a flavor of the month thing? that sounds like wishful thinking on your part. A half dozen women coming forward on something doesn't imply a massive unyielding cultural shift.

lol they kept it quiet until others allowed them to join in on the pity party. Typical feminine behavior, waiting for group approval and consensus. They weren't pioneers striking out on their own. Lemming behavior. It is what it is, and it produced some good results, but they weren't brave.

So, you don’t listen to the news or read a paper? You come here to be informed?
I questioned what you meant by "It’s #MeToo and it’s very telling you are aware of it and what it represents."
I am aware of the #....I don't see anything long term coming because of it. Just like so many of the hashtags and memes that went viral and then just as quickly, fell by the wayside...
If women want to stop becoming victims, they need to step up and stop being victims. Handle it. Ask for help. And in a timely fashion. Most important? Start being good role models now. At home, in schools, in churches, in extracurricular sports and youth activities...
For boys and girls.

It’s bigger than that, you have been in denial since the Women’s March, they are all connected and it’s ongoing. Apparently, you didn’t pay attention to the #MeToo on FB and Twitter, women are woke, to borrow the term from the black awareness.

You have such a poor understanding of women and their issues, it’s a shame, most millennial men are far more aware and supportive of females.

That's just clueless.

Weinstein took away some of the victim's careers when he even felt like they might speak out. It takes a lot to put your career on the line, and to put yourself out there for the kinds of attacks we see when women do speak out.

You're just out of touch on this one. It's not opinion; it's wrong to say that this doesn't take courage.

you can be supportive while not falling into some delusion that they were brave. if they were so brave they wouldn't have had to wait around for their hug circle to give them permission to come forward.

the womens "march" was just a one day reee-fest over trump wrecking their shit.
