I suspect that gloating FEMOCRATS are crediting their smear campaign against Moore and are even now ramping up efforts to make such allegations routine whenever an election is contested against a male candidate.

8 Republican seats, I agree that the deck is stacked against Democrats in 18' but if its a surge year and we get results such as Alabama across the nation we could take the house and taking the Senate just got much more likely.

I think Rump has about 13 months to accomplish anything, then its over for him.

Senate Republicans wont vote on the tax reform bill next week if they dont have the votes! Remember how many times they said they were going to vote of the Healthcare bill before they finally did?

I am all for tax reform, just not this version of tax reform. I am against corporate give aways, I don't think the wealthy pay enough, I dont agree with tax breaks for owners of Lear Jets.

What basis do you have for assuming that DEMOCRATS were "more energetic", Brad?

Based on exit polls, African-American voters comprised roughly the same percentage of the Alabama electorate than they did in 2012, when Barack Obama was on the ballot. Blacks voted overwhelmingly (96/4) for Doug Jones.

Moore won white college-educated women in Alabama last night, but only by 11 points. By contrast, Mitt Romney carried that cohort by 55 points against Obama.

Tsuke does not speak for all conservatives, Brad. Perhaps if you addressed him by name you might get a response from him. Do you habitually ask overhead questions when you want to elicit an answer from a particular individual?

Jones was not a candidate for president, Brad. Surely presidential races are considered more important than Senate special elections, even in the state where you received your education.
