Mark the day this tax scam is signed as one of the darkest in American history

I was clear. You simply had an unclear perception of what was being said.

No one else here was confused, and right-wingers aren't going to jump on anything I've ever said as a compliment to Trump.

Except you weren't, really, but if you're uninterested in how to improve the issue, I certainly am for you.

You're using 'people know you so they'll interpret' as a crutch for the writing - I made a constructive suggestion and am done given the response.

HUH?

I don't see how letting a bunch of racist white men continue to steal America helps us move beyond racism?

They should have been voted out not in.

Well, clearly his writing is perfect, just ask him and cawacko, so you couldn't possibly have said "HUH?" to him, but his point seems to have been that he thinks the backlash will make it end up being a good thing - he thinks the country can't 'evolve' in the right direction without the great harm getting a backlash. He's not entirely wrong but I posted my disagreement previously.

Sticking it to the worlds 6th largest economy is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Then again, conservative republicans always think they are the smartest in the room.

Why do people listen to them?

Mainly, because they're loud, because they're funded by big money, and people are ignorant. It's sort of like, 'why are so many pretty girls paying attention to the ugly billionaire'. (Draw your own conclusion about Melania).

I am appalled about how such utter idiots as Stephen Moore get published thousands of times, smothering the media with lies.

All these white men just picked Americans pockets.

Notice how they put 1 Black and 1 women up front. That's their diversity.

This would not be happening under Hilary PERIOD!

It really has little to do with gender or race. The Republican women voted for it. Herman Cain would have voted for it.

It's about plutocracy, and all races and genders need to unite to fight against the plutocrats of any race or gender.

We did. That's why Hillary didn't get elected and Democrats lost over 1000 seat in all levels of government during the Obama administration.

You should learn to capitalize acronyms, especially when they are words commonly used for other purposes. Why are you so happy for $6 trillion to be redistributed from the American people to the top 1% and creating plutocracy of our country?

Only leftist wet brains think stealing less from others means those experiencing less government theft are stealing from them. The economy is not a zero sum game, god you're fucking dumb.

Thanks, but what I mean is this nation needs the trauma of Trump to awaken to the presence of evil within our midst.

The harm will be huge, but it's exactly what America badly needed to move beyond our racist, sexist history.

Yes, I inferred that's what you meant. I don't totally disagree - I agree there is some backlash, which is good, and that it's opened a lot of Democrats' eyes from just ignoring the 45% who voted Republican and lost, to better appreciating just how big an issue our country has as they're 45% who vote Republican and won.

On the one hand, there is truth that people are far more able to fix problems that happen than to take action to prevent them. If you want to see fire prevention, watch after the huge fires happen.

But it's dangerous to try to suggest the great harm is actually a good thing because of the backlash. And history suggests that the backlash is usually far less than the harm.

Reagan, for example, change the country's course to be anti-democracy, anti-government, to give all economic growth to the top few, and run up deficits to undertax the rich.

Where's the backlash that corrects that? It's been in place for over three decades.

Umm no, the red states are just done subsidizing the massive welfare states and other perks experienced in blue states with high city/state taxes; such as, superior mass public transit. Pay for your own shit asshole and we'll pay for ours but we're done paying for yours.

Because this fucktard thinks the state owns all of the nations wealth by divine right and it is for them to dole out to us plebian masses as they see fit.

a lot of liberals think this way. I had the same conversation with another idiot on reddit where they were talking about how it wasn't fair how the government was "giving" money to the rich. They were also confused at the very concept that a tax cut is the government taking less money, not giving. They actually thought there was like a money pool somewhere. lol.

They've had it the local papers and local news, if you make over $100K and itemize because you own a home you are likely to see an increase.

Edit: the $100k seems like a low number but medium home is now around $900K so those reductions hurt

/shrugs......move to a better state.....

I suppose you will be happy to detail how it is redistributing $6T to the rich?

turn left at taking $6T FROM the rich, proceed in a spiral pattern the left for three full rotations....pretend to give $6T to the poor (carefully divert 10% to CGI and 5% to DNC campaign coffers) reverse spiral pattern, going left for three full rotations and STOP taking $6T from the rich (bemoan lack of charity and condemn enrichment of taxpayers).......

Republicans, make up your minds now.

If the economy does great and improves in the next 5 years after this bill, pat yourself on the back.

And if the economy crashes and does worse in the next 5 years after this bill, recognize YOU WERE WRONG. Admit it, and change your party and vote for Democrats WHO ARE RIGHT.

This is one of the worst days in American history. We're not just on the road to plutocracy, we're in its proximity, and we just burned a bridge to return to the American dream.

We're allowing a war to be won against the American people, American values, democracy, and it's a war that is going to become even harder for the American people to have a chance, as the other side just took $6 trillion more from us.

Democracy has failed - with the billions spent on propaganda to promote right-wing plutocracy, the media system used to fool the people, the voters have failed - and the country now will fail them.
I can't believe repubs got something done!
The tax bill not only ends the individual mandate aspect of ACA, the highly unfair penalty for being personally responsible, but it opens up ANWR to oil and gas drilling, something spineless repubs have been unwilling to do for 40 effing yrs.!
Now if they could only end the Medicaid expansion, but still this is great news.
Thank you Lisa Murkowski , Corker and the rest of the RINO's for having common sense for a change!:cheer:
