Because ultimately, that's what this is all about.

Very early on, Trump identified the media, the FBI and the intel community as being in opposition to him. To simplify, he sees them as the enemy.

And everything since has been a very focused & coordinated effort to undermine and discredit those institutions. For students of world history, this is traditionally the kind of behavior we see out of dictators - take away the press, and mold any investigative bodies to suit your specific needs. Make yourself the source of "truth" for the public.

Which is what Trump is doing. He wants to make sure that whatever Mueller concludes, it is instantly discredited, and whatever the media reports can instantly be dismissed as "fake news."

I figured the title must be a trick question because outside of Trump's shrinking world, nobody trusts that pathological liar.

calling out fake news ( which is manifest) and pushing back on a corrupt FBI leadership ( also manifest)
acting in a coordinated manner of a Deep State ( to undermine a duly elected POTUS) is the actions of a dictator??

Methinks you only want the FBI to be taken as gospel, and Mueller to be unquestioned
as to their methods and motives

a grand jury is hardly any check on prosecutorial over-reach in scope of findings or indictments.

The question is the entire probe suspect because of blatantly partisan individuals who have been disciplined (Ohr)
or so egregious in their plotting (Strzok/Weisman) it calls the entire process into question.

There is a reason prosecutors avoid even the appearances of impropriety -that should be doubly true when it comes to a Special Counsel who powers are unchecked.

His personnel decisions, his buddy-buddy with Comey ; the entire basis for an SC is highly questionable

Well, have you ever seen a sea cucumber, and thought yummy? Some people eat it, but I wouldn't trust them with dinner, anymore than I trust trump to be truthful, or a good leader.

Feb. 12 “Just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters lining the road that the FAKE NEWS media refuses to mention. Very dishonest!” (The media did cover it.)

Feb. 16 “We got 306 because people came out and voted like they've never seen before so that's the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan.” (George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all won bigger margins in the Electoral College.)

He is a compulsive and transparent liar, from the most trivial matters to the most serious. Whether he knows he's doing it and doesn't care - or perhaps more disturbingly he doesn't know - who knows?

This is the person that Trump suckers have chosen to represent America to the world.

Are you kidding? He's a sleazy salesman. He's been a sleazy salesman all his life. He gets paid to lie. His success is based on how much and how well he lies.
He's gotten to the point where he doesn't even realize he's lying. To him, lying and telling the truth has no meaning. He says whatever he can to achieve his desired results. Just look at his history.
He said President Obama was born in Kenya. Then he said he was born in the US.

He said President Obama didn't say "Merry Christmas".
He said President Obama wiretapped his campaign office.
He said he was going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it.

I could go on and on but hopefully, you stupid Trump-ass-kissers will get the idea.
