Immigration = housing shortage= $3,000/mo. rent = homelessness = dead people

Text Drivers are Killers

Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
This is seattle but it's going on nationwide. Another of the many ways immigrants, legal and illegal, kill americans.

dec 30 2017 The toll of the region’s homelessness crisis has been building since early in the year.

By April, the list of people who died while homeless or without a verifiable address reached 48. In September, it passed 93, the previous year’s total.

By the close of November, the King County medical examiner’s list reached 133, surpassing the previous high of 111 from 2006.

The list is a grim indicator of what many people living without shelter and those involved in the region’s fight against homelessness both acknowledge: For all the progress made toward the goal of making homelessness “rare, brief and one-time,” the reality on the streets remains stubbornly unchanged.

With an estimated snapshot count of 11,643 — more than 5,000 of whom were living outdoors during the annual survey — King County has the third-largest concentration in the nation of people living in homelessness.

Major cities across the West Coast are experiencing similar problems, with yearly increases in Portland, Los Angeles and San Diego.

I would imagine without illegal immigrants there would be less demand for housing? Less demand for something usually leads to lower prices.

We could eliminate immigration and not allow people to have children as well. That would lower our population and families would take up less space. Prices would drop right?

Or cities could allow developers to build new housing to meet the demand. That's how it usually works in a capitalist market. However Seattle and other west coast cities put severe restrictions on what can be built. Hence the sky high prices and homeless problem we see.

Trying to blame immigrants for the housing crisis shows a complete lack of understanding of the cities structures and their market place.

or you could be reasonable and limit immigration and let people have children? :P

Yes you could also deregulate cities.

Many different solutions can be applied to one problem :)

The issue here isn't immigration.

Nobody is saying NO immigration

LOL, if there was less demand they would be free?? These folks are living outdoors & can't afford it, even if they were substantially less...

Democrats may get their wish for more immigrants. If Democrats keep pushing for raises for those who don't deserve them, Republicans in DC might increase the number of special visas to immigrants to provide more competition for those jobs.

Who is to say who does & does not deserve a raise??
