Refusal to accept that will delegitimize the Israeli state and contribute to its eventual disappearance.

Do they defenestrate their political opponents like Hamas? I have a Jewish friend who is left wing but she'd go nuts if you were in her company and heard the bullshit you come out with. She lost several of her family in the concentration camps and was born in Israel but now lives over here.

Read Koestler, who was there in their pre-Reichlette, approving and (though it's brief) the account by Tony Cliff, who was brought up amongst the bully-boys, also before the racist state was set up. Pre-history is not my bit: I know what the early Zionists wanted, and it wasn't anything scriptural.
