British Prime Minister Theresa May has dismissed concerns about Donald Trump’s mental fitness, saying the U.S. president acts in what he sees as the best interests of his country.

A new book by journalist Michael Wolff quotes prominent Trump advisers as questioning the president’s competence.

Asked in an interview whether she thought concerns about Trump’s mental state were serious, May said: “No.”

She said that “when I deal with President Trump what I see is somebody who is committed to ensuring that he is taking decisions in the best interests of the United States.”

In the BBC interview broadcast Sunday, May reaffirmed that Trump would visit Britain. She did not give a date, or say whether it would be a full state visit or a lower-key working trip.

It takes a British PM to state the obvious, that Trump' mental state is fine, and he's pursuing his MAGA agenda.

The left is unable to cope with the fact Hillary lost, and the Obama agenda of globalism is dead.

So they immediately start with the electoral college, then it's "da Russians", and now it's Trump's mental acuity.
There is nothing wrong with opposing Trumps agenda - that's expected and American as apple pie.

But when they have to resort to de-legitimization,, it's downright treasonous of the left.

At minimum, Trump is a pathological liar, who lives in a world of delusion. All but the most emphatic partisans grasp this now.

It is NOT just the left that sees this issue. Trump's mental state is not "fine."

I get how Trumps tweets are combative, and his personality all about Trump. But we knew that going in.
He can be easily dislikable ( although I look at the role he plays,not him personally)

But that's a far cry from calling for the 25th Amendment- and it's basically an impeachment move
without foundation except for fake experts.

Get back to governing.There are deals to be had with DACA and border control - and then infrastructure.

you rely on that WAPO chart for the lies?
Trump does contradict himself at times, but keeps the same MAGA agenda. Is that a lie?
I'm sure the investigation ( which looks to be endless) wears on him too.

But he's an effective POTUS, he's operating in a completely different enviornment then business.
He's actually been a better politician in terms of assuaging the Swamp for his agenda.

None of this is "delusion"al behavior. It's sound long term planning by a rational mind

for fixations on fake news "gotcha"

At one time I had hope for you to see more then destructive hyper-partisanship.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect any world leader who wants to work w/ Trump to say "he's crazy." I take her opinion in the context of the position she has. She's being smart - that doesn't mean she's necessarily lying, but I definitely take what she said w/ a grain of salt.

I don't even care about the book. I care about the future.

I have given Trump credit for the economy, which is great. It's not worth it, imo. He does not have the temperament to be President, and his behavior should concern anyone who cares about our welfare.

he's traveled the world,
he has an effective foreign policy, and an effective enough (except for health care) domestic policy.

But this isn't worth it? Why not> what damage is he doing to the country?
