I think statistically that would be closer to every city is run by Democrats, and the vast majority of them are not failing, quite the contrary, ain't a whole lot of people planning trips to Holmes County, Mississippi

Flake has announced he would not run for reelection.

The reports I've read of it indicate Flake's announcement followed polling data indicating he'd lose if he did run.
So it is at best a tenuous link between Trump's commitment to draining the swamp, and Flake's moving on.

What you have attempted, and failed at here is what's known as the "post hoc ergo proper hoc" argument.
It was known as false even to the ancients that named it.
Post hoc ergo proper hoc = after that, therefore because of that

I see that is down a bit....in 1936 it was 99% demmycrat....
interestingly, in 64, the year some folks say all the racists switched to the Republican Party, Holmes County voted 96% Republican......

The question makes a good point. Some people say things indicating they believe in white supremacy, for example
using the n word, or making a case for white supremacy, others do it in ways you may not detect that are equally as clear to BAC as those you do detect.
Those in the first category, I'll call patent racists, do not run and hide, those that are latent racists, hide it.

To BAC, and even me and many, its clear as a bell. I see no distiction except the all to obvious effort to hide.

As to why? Simple. A sense of shame..

im not so sure its shame. I mean if you were to ask a democrat why they were being racist against asians by penalizing them soley due to skin color they would get upset and say they are not racist. I think its being fed the narrative that what you are doing is not racist when it clearly is.
