I respect your point but in my humble opinion you miss the larger perspective, they could give two shits to the wind about him or his narcissism. He is a useful idiot for them. The goal is to divide us for power over our lives economically and socially.
It's been the goal for 40 years. Trump is nothing more than a willing useful idiot for raw economic power. The problem is the economic system is based on a lie. That regretfully I cannot get into so easily. The economic lie is held by both parties and us as people. It is deep and disturbing for our future well being. All I can observe is that this current economic climate got what it wanted and is desperate to keep it at the boot on the neck of others. Why, is a deeper question. All Trump represents is the culmination and catalyst for that, 'keep others down' mentality that is so United States now. It's profoundly disturbing and spiritually depressing.

Good speech for him. I think the big positive will be the 1st few tweets talking about how wonderfully reviewed his speech was. There should be a Vegas line for some reference to the "best SOTU speech of all time."
