They went for the donations by appealing to the lowest among us. This just might be a division that has serious political ramifications. There are about 5 million kids turning 18 this year. I don't see millenials sitting this one out as they did in '16
Snowflake millenials hate whoever CNN tells them to hate...I don't expect them to do anything worthwhile.

I doubt that. They have very few choices for flights. I don't see other airlines picking up the discount programs anytime soon. They'll pick up more business than they will lose over this issue. NRA members are a vast minority in this country.
I doubt if any corporation "hates" despite Romney's insistence that corporations are people too, my friend. The airlines -- and the other companies severing ties with the despicable NRA -- are making a public statement of solidarity with the victims and their families. They no longer wish to be associated with an organization that is fighting tooth-and-nail against any measures to stop the murders. Surely you also support stopping the mass shootings too, right?
PS--I doubt if they have any say about air marshals being allowed on flights, since the marshals are federal employees and the airlines' safety measures are regulated by the federal government.
So now the kids protesting and marching because their classmates were murdered are "snowflakes"? What the actual fuck, Stretch. What happened to all that Christiany stuff you were saying the other day?
BTW, my kids -- although slightly older than these millenials -- don't watch CNN for their news. I know very few their age who do.

The discounts are irrelevant. NRA members will take their business elsewhere. A big boycott campaign on social media right now. That a pretty large market share to lose. Just ask the NFL over the kneeling during the anthem ordeal.

NFL didn't lose anything over the kneeling. And the NRA members are free to get other credit cards, use other car rental agencies, and fly other airlines. Their discounts are gone, and the companies that discontinued a business relationship with the hatred espoused by La Pierre/Loesche will see increased business as a result.

It's kind of amusing, eh? My three oldest g-kids are 19, 18, and will-be-18-in-June. None of them watch news at all, let alone CNN. Sadly they get their news either at school through history/civics classes, or Twitter. Tell you what though, this event has energized them more than anything else I've seen so far.
I wonder why. She seemed rational in prior discussions; fear though is a powerful thing. But what on earth should she be afraid of? That the NRA loses prestige and the ability to buy congress critters?
