NRA Partners Dumping Murder Inc.

Dick's Sporting Goods joins in the #DitchTheNRA movement. And Walmart is raising the age to buy ammo/guns there, even though they don't sell ARs.

Business is doing what Congress should have done long ago!

I'm good with a 21 year-old requirement.

Ditto. I'd also like to see some sort of competency and safe-handing knowledge requirement as well. They could give the exams at the same time the person goes to get his/her drivers license, and put some sort of addendum on their license like they do if you have a dual motorcycle license, or have to wear glasses.

Here is where the NRA could help in preparing for getting a license.

That used to be their main mission, long long ago.

Their site is loaded with all this good info.
I wanted to add though as far as the age. Maybe everyone can parse out the specific fire arms not permitted until age 21. I especially think about all the women who begin going off to work or college at 18 (and the guys, too to be fair). I truly believe they should be able to have training and access to some "appropriate" firearms to meet their needs such as concealed carry hand guns and even hunting and or sporting rifles.
